Well I haven't been talking to you for a while. This was due to a number of things the most terrifying of which was Cancer.  Well I can let you know right now that I got the all clear and its fingers crossed that all stays good. I feel really healthy and well thank God and full of good energy.

I worked a lot through my illness and this helped me to keep it out of my mind. I did a Film in Galway and a lot of work on my new Album.

Thankfully when I got the all clear a pile of work came in. I was Musical Director in "Deathrow Cowboy" in Smock Alley (I also sang and took part) and played the lead role of Limerick Bill in the Play "A Wasteland Harvest" in the Ranalegh "Arts Festival" as well as the lead in a lovely short called "It rains in Summer".

Very soon I will be finishing off my Album probably starting on the 23rd of September. We have strings arranged just needing vocals. The other tracks are being arranged as i speak. My great friend Brendan Phelan who wrote"Dublin in my tears" is presenting an Album of his songs and I will be singing one of them.

Finally I will also be doing a Film called the "Wake" with Don Baker, Tommy O Neill, Gerry Shanahan and Rosanna Davison in the New Year. Please God my Album "Cabra Songs" will be out before Christmas......Its great to be back.
